Paul Ricciardi is an actor, solo performer, acting coach and vocal coach. He is a Designated Linklater teacher and currently teaches Acting and Voice at the City University of New York/Kingsborough Community College. As an actor and award winning solo performer, Paul has worked extensively throughout New York City and regionally. Recent theater credits include the premiere of his new solo show ANGRY AND OTHER STORIES at Dixon Place in NYC, a revival of his award winning solo show, MOVING VEHICLES, at the legendary Club Helsinki; HAMLET at Saratoga Shakespeare Company, LOVE SONG at Chester Theater Company, The New Play Festival at Proctor's Theatre, and TAKE ME OUT at Boston's Speakeasy Stage (IRNE Award, best ensemble). Paul was also a 2013 participant with the Stromboli Project in Stromboli, Italy. As a voice and text coach, Paul has worked with theaters, colleges and universities throughout the Capital Region of New York. In 2011, Paul's article "I Want to Do That" which studied the value of mentoring within the voice and speech community, was published in THE VOICE AND SPEECH REVIEW. Paul is Co-Vice Chair for Region I of the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival and a recipient of the 2009 Kennedy Center National Teaching Artist Award. Paul earned his MFA in Acting at Trinity Repertory Company in Providence, RI.
